Florence will be laid to rest next to her husband during a private graveside service at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Woodstown. In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in her memory to the Carneys Point Fire Department, 258 D Street, Carneys Point, NJ 08069. Florence Ann Godin, 95, a resident of Carneys Point, NJ for the last 30 years, passed away on May 9, 2026. Born in Kaska, PA, Florence was the daughter of the late Adam John Veronsky and Helen (Yurdock) Veronsky. Over the years, she lived in Bridgeton, NJ where she worked as a seamstress at a hosiery factory; Mount Holly, NJ where she she worked at an electric factory testing resistors for radios; and Ocala, FL, until moving to Carneys Point. A devout Catholic, Florence was a member of St. Gabriel the Archangel Parish where she served on the Altar and Rosary Society as well as the Senior Saints. She loved to go shopping, especially at Boscov’s and on QVC, and she had a passion for going ballroom and country line dancing. An exceptional seamstress, she enjoyed sewing dresses and gowns, and she split the years as a “snowbird” down at the Buena Vista campground.

Florence is survived by her son Jerry Godin (Patricia) and her grandchildren Denise Godin-Boos (John), Allison Boos-Reeder (Andrew), Austin Boos (Sandra), Ava Lynn Reeder, Annelise Boos and Hudson Boos. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Robert Ovila Godin and her brother John Adam Veronsky.
