David L. Timberman

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Marian Lisle Timberman, his son, Scott Timberman, and seven siblings: Margaret Ward, Meryl Hendrickson, Burroughs Timberman Sr., Jeanette Timberman, Dorothy Somers, Charles Timberman and Benjamin Timberman. A celebration of Dave’s life will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main Street, Elmer, NJ 08318. There will be a visitation starting at 10 AM leading to the memorial service at 11 AM. Burial will follow the service at Chestnut Grove Cemetery. David L. Timberman, a life-long resident of Elmer, passed away at the age of 86 on April 5, 2026. Dave was born in Bridgeton to the late Benjamin B. and Jeanette (Conover) Timberman and was a graduate of Bridgeton High School where he met his wife of 50 years, Marian.

After graduation, Dave pursued his dream of auto mechanics and was well known as the owner of Elmer Service Center on Rt. 40 for many years.

Dave retired in 1999 and enjoyed spending time with his wife and family at his cabin in Sonestown, PA where he was a member of many area social clubs.

Dave is survived by his children Pamela Timberman, Brian Timberman and Alicia (Nelson), Eric Timberman and Lourdes (Correa) and Leigh Timberman and Bridget (Enright); his grandchildren Jaclyn (Robert), Shawn (Charles), Alyssa, Lainey, Kristina, Alec, Kevin and Connor; his great grandchildren Robert James, Adeline, Liam and Elise; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family.
