A viewing will be held at Ashcraft Funeral Home in Pennsville, NJ on Monday, April 13, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a service at 11:00am. Interment will follow at Lawnside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests donations be made to Ranch Hope. Barbara will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generous spirit, and the lasting impact she made on everyone who knew her.

Barbara Wright, 90, of Woodstown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, April 7, 2026.

Barbara was a lifelong resident of Salem County and a devoted member of New Hope Methodist Church since 1960. Her strength was deeply rooted in her faith, and her Christian values guided her life and the way she cared for others.

A proud graduate of Penns Grove High School, Class of 1953, Barbara remained a lifelong learner with a love for reading and helping those around her. She touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and quiet support.

Barbara cherished her family. She is survived by Toni Beltz (Mark), Brenda Lounsberry (Charles), Richard Hawkesworth (Alexis), Laura Mraz (Robert), and Christina Hawkesworth (Mark Goldman), along with seven beloved grandchildren who brought her great joy.

She was predeceased by her loving husband, Lewis Wright, and her mother, Elsie Smick.
