PENNSVILLE — The entrance to Riverview Beach Park has been reopened just earlier this evening after closing due to electrical issues on Friday June 12, 2026. When the cherished local park’s main entrance closure was announced, officials were unable to determine the length of the project to fix the issue. So at the time, no timeline could be given and therefore the original title of being closed “indefinitely” was used by The News of Salem County.

Work is still needed to be done in the area so please use caution. This work should not interfere with any traffic.

According to Pennsville Police Department’s official Facebook Page, the main entrance to Riverview Beach Park will be closed beginning Monday June 15th until further notice. This is due to underground electrical issues needing service.
We will keep you updated with more details next week. According to sources, the road near the entrance has to be dug up.
The back entrance near The Shipyard and Delaware River is still available to be used for parking and entering the park.
