Janet Taylor Lindsay Hedden

Services will be held Tuesday, February 3, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM with the service to follow at 11:00 AM. Burial will take place at Eglington Cemetery in Clarksboro. Condolences may be offered at adamsfuneralhome.org.

Janet Taylor Hedden Lindsay, 94, of Carneys Point, passed away on January 24, 2026.

Born in Carneys Point, she was the daughter of Howard B. and Elizabeth Hutchinson Taylor. Janet retired as a cashier from Eckerd Drug Store. She enjoyed attending her children’s, grandchildren’s, great-grandchildren’s and great-great-grandchildren’s sporting events over the years. She attended St. Gabriel the Archangel Roman Catholic Church with her husband and, more recently, Sharptown United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her children Trina G. Krick, James M. Hedden, Cheryl Fragile and Margaret M. Doyle; her sister Etta T. Keyes; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-five great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph M. Lindsay; her son, Brand Hedden; a step-daughter, Mary Louise-Lindsay; and two siblings, Howard Taylor and Lois Taylor.
