Franklin L. Homan, 77, passed away peacefully on March 30, 2026. Born on March 7, 1949, Frank lived a life marked by dedication, loyalty, and a deep love for those around him.

Frank, as he was known to his friends and others, but his family all knew him as “Tank” or “Uncle Tank,” was a devoted husband, brother, and uncle who treasured his family above all else. He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Susan; his sisters, Katherine (Kay) Fagan and Carol Hickman; his brother, Warren (Jack) Homan; and his nephew, Richard Hickman.

He is survived by his nieces and nephew: Beth Julian (Frank), Holly Proffitt (Dave), Kathy Hunt (dec. Gary), Susan Fagan (Bryan), Linda Meoli (Nick), Gregg Homan (Jill), Julie Joyce (Coleman), and Laurie Dausen (Chris), who will remember him for his steady presence, kind heart, and the guidance he offered throughout their lives.

A proud veteran, Frank served in the National Guard, demonstrating the same dedication and discipline in service to his country that he carried throughout his life. A graduate of Penns Grove High School and Rutgers University, he went on to become a very successful entrepreneur, beginning his career as a Realtor and Broker before owning and operating The Spare Room in Carneys Point, New Jersey, earning respect and friendship in both his professional and personal life.

An active and proud member of Rotary, Frank believed strongly in giving back to his community and helping others. He also had a lifelong passion for Philadelphia sports and could often be found cheering on the Phillies and the Eagles.

Frank loved to travel and especially cherished time spent at the beach. Whether in Avalon or Naples, he found joy in the ocean, the sunshine, and the simple pleasure of being by the water. He brought joy to others as Santa Claus at the family Christmas parties and was always ready for a good joke, a prank, or an adventure. Known for his laughter, love of life, and ability to enjoy every day with a smile, Frank could light up any room he entered.

Frank will be remembered for his warmth, quiet strength, entrepreneurial spirit, sense of humor, and unwavering loyalty. His legacy of service, kindness, adventure, and joy will live on in all who knew and loved him.
