Curtis R. Coughlin, 70, of Pittsgrove, passed away on March 19, 2026. Born in Camden, NJ, he was the son of Charles B. Coughlin Jr. and Constance (née King) Coughlin.
Curtis was a graduate of Haddonfield High School and went on to build a long and dedicated career in trucking. He owned and operated his own trucking company, CTC in Newfield, before later retiring from Penske Trucking.
Curtis led a very full life, and his fondest memories include coaching his children in Elmer Little League, playing softball for his church teams, and traveling with family and friends. He was a man of strong faith and active in his Church. He was a current member of Country Road Bible Church and had previously attended Elmer Baptist. Curtis was a lifelong avid bowler and recently achieved the rare accomplishment of a 300 game. He was also proud of having both a 700 and an 815 series. He loved golfing with both family and friends and once celebrated a hole-in-one. But his favorite pastime was just spending time with family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He is survived by his beloved wife of fifty years, Debra (née Markart); his children, Curtis II (Kathryn), Kevin (Erin), and Lauren Kate Noel (Robert); his mother, Constance King; his siblings, Craig Coughlin, Colleen Kennedy, and Carl Coughlin; his grandchildren, Kayla Urgo (Matt), Alexander Noel, Roxie Coughlin, Danielle Noel, and Josephine Coughlin; and his great-grandchildren, Olivia and Luca Urgo.
In addition to his father, Curtis was predeceased by his brother, Charles Coughlin III.
