WOODSTOWN – A gas main was struck in downtown Woodstown this morning April 8, 2026 around 10:00am on North Main St. and Auburn Street on Route 45. Crews had to evacuate nearby residences and buildings until the leak was secured.
EMS members of local crews stayed at the scene for a while longer.
At of 11:20 AM Woodstown Police Department released the following:
“Residents who were evacuated due to the gas leak on N Main St may return to your homes.”
