Police Report Seven Arrests Ranging from Local Misconduct to Felony Assault in First Two Weeks of July 2026
The Salem Police Department has released its most recent arrest summary detailing police activity from July 1 through July 15, 2026.ย During this two-week period, the department reported a total of seven arrests involving individuals from Salem, neighboring communities, and out-of-state locations.ย The offenses cited in the log range from local ordinance violations and outstanding warrants to serious charges including criminal trespass, child endangerment, and two domestic violence-related strangulation aggravated assaults.

Cameron M. King, 37, of an unspecified address, was arrested on July 1, 2026, at 9:27 p.m. and charged with a Peace and Good Order-Improper Conduct offense.
William Lincoln, 50, of Salem, NJ, was arrested on July 2, 2026, at 9:32 p.m. and charged on an outstanding “Warrant – Other”.
John T. Allen, 58, of Salem, NJ, was arrested on July 3, 2026, at 12:39 a.m. and charged with criminal trespass (defiant trespass/posting).
Purvis M. Hatcher, 25, of Bridgeton, NJ, was arrested on July 5, 2026, at 10:42 a.m. and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation of a domestic violence victim.
Wynita Mills, 40, of Wilmington, DE, was arrested on July 6, 2026, at 10:23 p.m. and charged with endangering/abuse or neglect of a child, as well as refusal to submit to fingerprinting.
Willie R. Marlow, 48, of Salem, NJ, was arrested on July 11, 2026, at 10:00 p.m. and charged with aggravated assault by strangulation of a domestic violence victim.
William Lincoln, 50, of Salem, NJ, was arrested again on July 14, 2026, at 7:21 a.m. on an outstanding “Warrant – Other”.
