PENNSVILLE — Pennsville Police made 23 arrests in the back half of August, according to the department’s arrest summary, topped by a 19-year-old Pennsville Township woman charged with sexual assault and criminal sexual contact and a 53-year-old woman charged with aggravated assault with a weapon. The stretch also included a Pennsville Township woman charged with assaulting a DYFS employee, a Carneys Point man charged with eluding police in a motor vehicle, three DUI arrests, and a repeat pair of trespassing and loitering charges filed against three different people at the same location over three straight days.

Frank Murray III, 36, male, Penns Grove — Arrested 8:25 p.m. Aug. 23 and charged with burglary, criminal mischief, possession or manufacture of burglary tools and theft of movable property.
Sara J. Viereck, 19, female, Pennsville Township — Arrested 1 p.m. Aug. 25 and charged with criminal sexual contact and sexual assault.
Heather J. Ferrel, 53, female, Pennsville — Arrested 4:22 p.m. Aug. 25 and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.

Donna Macintosh, 38, female, Media, Pennsylvania — Arrested 6:18 a.m. Aug. 26 and charged with animal cruelty for failing to provide necessary care to an animal in her charge.
Lucas M. Westfield, 30, male, Pennsville Township — Formally charged and given a court date on 2:01 p.m. Aug. 26 and charged with violating a court order.
