Friends and relatives are welcome to a memorial mass on Friday, September 4, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Gabriel the Archangel Church, 369 Georgetown Rd., Carneys Point, NJ. He will be laid to rest at Salem County Veterans Cemetery; burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Gabriel the Archangel, 369 Georgetown Rd., Carneys Point, NJ.

Salvatore Anthony Arcidiacono, 95, passed away at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home, Vineland, on Monday, August 24, 2026. He honorably served in the US Army, then went on to work for Chrysler Corporation, Newark, Delaware, for 30 years.

He was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Louise Silvestri Arcidiacono, and his son-in-law, William Philip. He was also predeceased by his parents, Leonard and Sarah Arcidiacono; his sister, Alfia Arcidiacono Testa; and his brothers, Anthony, Lennie, and Joseph. He is survived by his daughter, Sandra Arcidiacono Philip, and his granddaughter, Chelsea Kershaw, and her husband, Zach. He is also survived by his granddog, Archie, whom he adored.

Our family wishes to thank the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland for their compassionate care. Special thanks to the nurses and aides for the exceptional love and respect shown to Dad from Day 1!
