Robert "Bobby" E Liable Jr.

Visitation Thursday, September 24, 2026, 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM, followed by funeral service at 7:00 PM, at Laughrey Funeral Home, One North Broadway, Pennsville, NJ. Burial will be private.

Robert Liable, Jr., 252 Park Drive, Bridgeton, passed away on September 18, 2026.

Bobby has gone to be with his Lord and Savior, leaving behind his family and loved ones who will forever cherish his memory. Born in Salem, Bobby resided in Bridgeton, previously living in Pennsville.

He is survived by his wife Denise (Ecret); his mother, Marie; and his children Hilary, Katie, Paige, Bekah, his stepdaughters, Charnise, Phylicia, and Kelsey; siblings, Joanne (Paul), Deborah, Louise (Keith), and John (Lavonne). Additional family members include grandchildren Kaleb and Emilee. Bobby was predeceased by his father Robert Liable Sr. and brother, Edward.

Bobby graduated from Salem High School and proudly served four years in the United States Army, where he was stationed in Panama. He went on to build a 40-year career as a carpenter and retired from the Northeast Carpenters Union, Local 255, originally Local 542.

Bobby was a member of the Buckshorn Sportsman Club, where he enjoyed archery, the shooting range, pellet shooting, and black powder. He also enjoyed traveling, visiting flea markets, taking long drives, and planning his next project with his wife, Denise.

Bobby and Denise shared a deep love for their dogs, who were truly part of their family. He spent countless hours throwing balls and playing with Oliver, Sadie, Jada Mae, Dakota, and Jackson.

Bobby was happiest when he was busy working on a project or building something with his hands. He was known for his ability to fix, create, and figure things out, and he was always willing to teach others and share the knowledge he gained throughout his years in the trade. While Bobby did not enjoy reading, he did enjoy listening to God’s Word and sermons, as well as gospel hymns and classic country music, which were a meaningful part of his life.

Above all, Bobby loved spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing games, laughing, joking, and creating memories with the people he loved. His sense of humor, generous spirit, willingness to help, and love of building and creating will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
