Nicholas John Rappa Jr.

Viewing Monday, September 28, 2026, 11:00 AM – 12:30 PM, followed by a service at 12:30 PM, at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ. Burial to follow at Salem County Veterans Cemetery, Mannington, NJ.

Nicholas John Rappa, Jr., 77, of Pennsville, passed away on September 21, 2026.

Born in Woodbury, Nick was the son of the late Nicholas Rappa, Sr. and Irene Rappa. He was a graduate of Pennsville High School and went on to enjoy a long career with General Motors, where he retired as a foreman.

Nick was a devoted Philadelphia sports fan and could often be found cheering on all of his favorite teams, including the Eagles, Phillies, 76ers, and Flyers. He also enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and hunting. An avid softball player, Nick played in many different leagues throughout the years, traveling to play wherever the games took him. He especially enjoyed playing in the Pennsville Over 35 League, participating in both fast-pitch and slow-pitch softball.

Above all, Nick cherished his family and the time he spent with those he loved.

Nick is survived by his son, Robert, and his wife, Heather; his daughter, Pam, and her husband, Damien; his brother, Michael Rappa and his wife Carol; his grandchildren, Robert Jr., Huntyr, Cooper, Damien Jr., Casey, Bobbi, Jacob, Tristen, and Isabella; and his great-grandchild, Tuff Yarger.

In addition to his parents, Nick was predeceased by his beloved wife, Joyce, and his son, Nicholas J. Rappa III.
