Jeffrey M. Sickler, age 59 of Pilesgrove passed away peacefully, surrounded by family Saturday, March 28, 2026 at Inspira Hospital in Mullica Hill.
Born in Elmer, he was the son of Richard & Eileen (Hart) Sickler. Jeff was a 1985 graduate of Woodstown High School. Jeff was an avid farmer, skilled mechanic, and fabricator. Over the years, he put his talents to work in farming, construction, welding, and heavy equipment operation. He was a walking encyclopedia on classic tractors. He took pride in working with his hands. He spent countless hours in his shop building and perfecting equipment and tools you just can’t buy in a store.
Jeff enjoyed sunny days on the water, riding on his jet skis and 3-wheeler, and moving dirt. Jeff could be found splitting wood, fooling around in his shop, or restoring antique tractors. For more than 20 years, Jeff and his family spent their summers camping at River Beach RV Resort, where he earned the title of “Mayor of River Beach” through his kindness, generosity, and willingness to lend a helping hand. He was the kind of person who would do anything for anyone, never expecting anything in return.
Despite life’s challenges, Jeff never allowed his circumstances to define him. He made the most of every hand he was dealt, remaining positive, joyful, and loving. He will be remembered for his hard work, strength, determination, his love of family and farming, and the quiet, steady way he touched the lives of those around him.
In addition to his parents, Jeff is survived by his wife of 38 years, Susan (Foster); his sons, Benjamin (Kristen) and Casey (Shannon); his grandchildren, Mason, Aubrey, Kaylee, Savannah, Harper, and Jeffrey; his siblings, Janeen (Mike), Krissy (Steve), Kevin (Sally), Karen (Lee), Jenny (Al), Joe (Jen), Kregg (Donica), Kandice (Aaron), and Korey; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins; his father-in-law, Warren (Susan); his brother-in-law, Steven; his sister-in-law, Terri; and his best friend, Don English. Jeff is predeceased by his grandparents, Raymond & Sally Sickler, and Joseph & Eleanor Hart; his mother-in-law, Janet Foster; and his brother-in-law, Bruce Foster.
