Harry H Hutchinson Sr.

July 25, 1951 - September 25, 2026

A celebration of Harry’s life will be held on Friday, October 2, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, 111 S. Main Street, Elmer, NJ 08318. There will be a memorial visitation starting at 10 AM leading to the memorial service at 11 AM. Burial will follow the service at the Willow Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery in Pittsgrove.

Harry Henry Hutchinson, Sr., age 75, a life-long resident of Pittsgrove, NJ but living in Vineland for the past seven years, passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, he was the son of the late Ernest Harry Hutchinson, Sr. and Alyce Frances (Pappas) Hutchinson and was a graduate of Vineland High School. Harry spent his career working as a cook at the Vineland State School for 38 years.

Harry enjoyed taking bus trips with his mother, often to Pennsylvania, the Philadelphia Flower Show and once took a bus to go to Chicago where he picked up a train to Washington State. He loved chasing his nieces and nephews around his parents’ swimming pool and Harry was famous for his pineapple upside-down cake.

Harry is survived by his son Harry Hutchinson, Jr., his daughter Jennifer Hutchinson, his sisters Nancy Cramer and Alyce (Russell) Zerra, his sister in law Rosalie Hutchinson, and several nieces, nephews and other extended family members. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brothers Ernie and Louis.
