Department’s latest arrest summary include a 20-year-old charged with pointing a firearm and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a second aggravated-assault-with-a-weapon case, two DWI arrests, and more
CARNEYS POINT TWP – Carneys Point Police reported 10 cases in the department’s monthly arrest summary for Sept. 28–Oct. 12, 2026, one of which — a Sept. 28 burglary arrest — was already covered in the previous police log and isn’t repeated here. Of the nine new cases, the most serious involves a 20-year-old Carneys Point man taken into custody on aggravated assault and weapons charges after allegedly pointing a firearm during an incident, including unlawful possession of a handgun. A Wilmington, DE woman was also arrested on an aggravated assault with a weapon charge. Three other people were taken into custody on outstanding warrants, and two drivers were charged with DWI along with a string of motor-vehicle violations.
All those named below are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
The charges reflect the initial filing and may be amended, reduced or dismissed as cases proceed through the courts. Note: the department’s own report labels every case below an “arrest,” but only the cases where someone was actually taken into custody are described that way here; the simple-assault and standalone motor-vehicle/DWI cases that were resolved with a summons are described as such.

Anthony J. Rosario, 54, male, of Carneys Point — Arrested at 10:31 a.m. Sept. 29 on an outstanding warrant.
Shanice R. Anderson, 34, female, of Carneys Point — Issued a summons at 4:41 p.m. Sept. 30 on a charge of attempting to cause bodily injury to another person.
Leslie M. Parks, 47, female, of Penns Grove — Arrested at 8:04 a.m. Oct. 2 on two outstanding warrants.
Ronald Allen Beard Jr., 29, male, of Carneys Point — Arrested at 12:50 p.m. Oct. 2 on two outstanding warrants.
Tyra Linere Smith, 32, female, of Wilmington, Delaware — Arrested just after midnight Oct. 5 and charged with aggravated assault with a weapon.
Etienne Celestin, 22, male, of Carneys Point — Issued a summons at 2 p.m. Oct. 8 on a charge of simple assault.
Jervin H. Domingo Vasquez, 27, male, of Carneys Point — Issued a summons at 12:54 a.m. Oct. 11 and charged with driving without a license, driving while under the influence, failing to exhibit his driver’s license, insurance and registration documents, improper use of the left lane, reckless driving, and driving an uninsured motor vehicle.
Alora Dannan Allison, 37, female, of Swedesboro — Issued a summons at 7:01 p.m. Oct. 11 and charged with driving while under the influence, failing to exhibit her driver’s license, insurance and registration documents, failure to inspect, improper parking in front of a driveway, having an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, and reckless driving.
Marquaan L. Lewis-McGill, 20, male, of Carneys Point — Arrested at 8:37 p.m. Oct. 12 and charged with aggravated assault by pointing a firearm, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, and unlawful possession of a handgun.
