Harry A. Moore

January 9, 1933 - July 27, 2026

Donations in Harry’s memory may be made to the Pedricktown Ambulance Squad, 37 Straughns Mill Road, Pedricktown, NJ 08067 or First Baptist Church at Pedricktown, 89 West Mill Street, Pedricktown, NJ 08067. A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, August 15th in the First Baptist Church of Pedricktown, 89 West Mill St., Pedricktown, where friends are invited to visit from 10 AM until the time of service. Harry A. Moore, age 93 of Auburn, went home to his heavenly Father on Monday, July 27, 2026, after a brief illness. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Ruthann and by son, Marc (Jeryl); his stepsons, Michael J. Ruhl (Renee) and John F. Ruhl, Jr. (Elizabeth); his grandchildren, Taylor (Joseph) Harvey, Sydney Moore, Matthew (Justine) Acquarola, Grace Acquarola, (Will), Richard Acquarola, Jr., Victoria Ruhl-Mitchell (David), Robert J. Ruhl, and Brandon Moore. He was predeceased by his parents as well as by his sons, Kevin D. Moore and Eric T. Moore in 2023.

Harry was instrumental in many of his hometown’s organizations. Being one of the organizers of the ambulance squad, served as special police officer, served on the first junior achievement formed in Pedricktown to serving on the township committee and eventually mayor. He volunteered with Logan Volunteer Fire Company for over 20 years and was also a member of the Exempt Firemen’s Assoc., serving as secretary for 2 years. He volunteered as well with the American Red Cross for approximately 40 years at blood drives, faithfully attending to the needs of donors. He was a longstanding member of the First Baptist Church at Pedricktown serving on many of the committees/boards. Harry also served as the Superintendent of the Sunday school and served as youth director when no one else volunteered.
