Hannah Mae Nazar Lloyd

March 3, 1947 - August 26, 2026

Services will be held on September 4th at Pennsville Assembly of God Church, 328 N Broadway, Pennsville, NJ 08070. Visitation begins at 10 a.m., with the service starting at 11 a.m. Following the service, there will be a luncheon at the church.

Hannah Mae Lloyd (Nazar), age 79, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her husband, Howard Lloyd Jr.; her two daughters, Connie Green and Bonnie Fox; her sons-in-law, Tom Green and Phillip Fox; and her two granddaughters, Becky Grablow and Autumn Todd.

Mae finished high school and couldn’t wait to start a family. She married Howard Lloyd Jr. on November 2, 1963. Not long after, they welcomed their first child, Howard Vincent Lloyd, on April 19, 1964. Mae loved being a mom. She welcomed twin girls on April 14, 1966, Bonnie and Connie.

When Mae wasn’t busy being a wife and a mother, she loved to dance with her family. She was very talented at crocheting for family and friends. She was also very active fishing with her husband or crabbing with her mom. Mae was very involved in her church, Pennsville Assembly of God, for 20+ years. She enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her husband.

Mae, also known as Nanny to her several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, was the ultimate gamer, as they would call her. She would stay up all hours with them, playing on any and all game systems and making so many memories. Mae will be so very missed.

Mae is predeceased by her mother, Alma Sarah Nazar; father, Joseph Nazar; brother, Joseph Nazar; and sister, Thelma Norton.

She is survived by her daughter Connie Green (husband Tom Green) and family; her daughter Bonnie Fox (husband Phillip Fox) and family; her husband Howard Lloyd Jr.; and her sisters Shirley Scull, Alma Pruneda, and Cindy Alestock and their families.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Mae’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Foundation of America or the Dementia Society of America.
