Beatrice “Beatty” Dolbow Snyder, 95, of Pennsville, NJ, passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, August 11, 2026.

A homemaker for much of her life, Beatty also worked part-time at Parvin’s Bakery before later working at Richman’s, where she packed ice cream in the factory. However, her final and most fulfilling job was caring for her grandchildren, who were her pride and joy and brought her immeasurable happiness.

Beatty enjoyed many hobbies, including reading Westerns, baking and decorating cakes, gardening, and knitting. She also had a special love for feeding squirrels, a simple pleasure she shared with and passed down to her granddaughter.

Beatty was a devoted member of Sharptown Methodist Church, where she gave generously of her time and talents. She could often be found in the church kitchen, rolling potpie dough for the beloved chicken potpie dinners and making shortcakes for the annual Strawberry Festival. She was a member of the Willing Workers Circle, where she made visits to local nursing homes, bringing bananas and cupcakes to brighten the residents’ days. Later, she helped prepare and serve the monthly Senior Citizen dinners held at the church.

Her kindness, generosity, and love for her family and community will be remembered by all who knew her.

Beatty is survived by her two sons, Harold “Donny” Dolbow (Linda) and David Dolbow; four grandchildren, Jeffrey Williams (Julie), Brian Dolbow, Jim Dolbow (Mandy), and Heather Hasson (Jack); and five bonus great-grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Harold “Bugs” Dolbow in 1996; her second husband, Gerald Snyder in 2008; her daughter, Diane Williams; her parents, Olive and Harry Burden; her twin, Bernice Wright; her sister, Geraldine Beck; and her brother, Harry Burden.
