Barbara Hoglen, 86, of Pilesgrove, passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026. Born in Harrisonville, she was the daughter of the late Earl J. and Ella Harbeson Skinner.
Barbara was a proud graduate of Woodstown High School, Class of 1958, and continued her education at Goldey-Beacom College. She went on to have a long and dedicated career in sales and as a secretary at Chard Furniture.

Barbara was a dedicated volunteer at Elmer Hospital and a passionate fan of the Philadelphia Phillies. Above all, she was deeply devoted to her family and rarely missed an opportunity to attend the sporting events and activities of her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Tom Hoglen and his wife Barbara, and Barbara Lea Garozzo and her husband Nino; seven grandchildren, Kristin Evans, Brian Conto (Sara), Jamie Mayhew (William), James Conto, Jr., Gina Garozzo Jones (Bryan), Jennifer Vasta (Lenny), and Anthony Garozzo (Ashley); and sixteen great-grandchildren, Thomas and Adelyn Conto, Aaron, Austin and Avery Zeeman, Peyton and Liam Mayhew, Madison and Sydney Jones, Luke and Clara Vasta, and Scarlett, Isabelle, Jackson, and Nathan Garozzo. She is also survived by her sister, Joyce Miller and her husband Richard, along with many beloved extended family members and friends.
In addition to her parents, Earl Skinner and Ella and Edward Hood, Barbara was predeceased by her husband, Gerald (“Jerry”) Hoglen; her brother, Dallas Skinner; her son-in-law, James Conto.
