Christine Marie Gravot

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, at 3:00 pm at Sharptown Church, 46 Auburn Road, Woodstown, NJ 08098. Private interment.

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Christine Marie Gravot, who entered eternal rest on October 14, 2026, at the age of 60, following a courageous battle with glioblastoma.

Born on September 3, 1966, in Philadelphia, PA, Christine was the cherished daughter of William Yost Sr. and Carmela Yost. She spent many years in New Jersey before relocating to Millstadt, Illinois, where she resided for the past thirteen years with her beloved husband, Michael Gravot and two daughters, Aileen and Liesl Gravot.

Christine dedicated part of her professional life to working as a paralegal before pursuing her passion as a mother and craft making entrepreneur. Creative, resourceful, and endlessly talented, she found joy in crafting beautiful handmade items, discovering hidden treasures while thrift shopping and tending to her beloved wildflower garden. Christine was known for her steadfast spirit, love of music and dancing, hard work ethic and overwhelmingly optimistic attitude.

Above all else, Christine treasured time spent with her family. Her greatest happiness came from having her children and grandchildren gathered around her. She loved the noise, laughter, and joyful chaos they brought into her home, filling it with life, love, and precious memories.

Christine is survived by her loving husband, Michael Gravot; her parents, William and Carmela Yost Sr.; her daughters, Evelyn (Brian) Weise, Morgan (Eric) Gravot-Mosher, Aileen Gravot, and Liesl Gravot; her brother, William (Dana) Yost Jr.; and her cherished grandchildren, Hannah, Angelina, Rory, Guinevere, and Eric.
