Robert William Jenison, age 82 of Pittsgrove, formerly of Woodstown, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026, at Cooper University Hospital in Camden after complications of a heart attack.
Robert was born on May 27, 1944, in Salem. He was the son of the late Madeline and John Jenison. He was a 1963 graduate of Woodstown High School, who then went on to serve his country through the Army in Vietnam. Upon his return from Vietnam, he started work at General Motors in Delaware which then led him to DuPont Chambers Works in Deepwater. In his spare time Robert enjoyed camping with his family and friends, watching Nascar racing, was a member of the Woodstown Masonic Lodge, and enjoyed playing with his dog Buddy before he passed and later on playing with his two feline companions, Buddy and Rusty.
In addition to his parents, Robert was predeceased by his wife of almost 50 years, Lois Kay (Flitcraft) Jenison and his brother, John Jenison. He is survived by his sister & brother-in-law, June & Richard Shimp; his brother-in-law & sister-in-law, Cris & Kathy Flitcraft, his sister-in-law, Mary Jenison; his daughters & sons-in-law, Mary Kay & Chris Sweatmon and Michele & Kevin Drummond; and his two granddaughters, Samantha Drummond-Cruz(husband Myles) and Shelby Drummond. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, and cousins.
