A memorial service will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, May 9th in the Pennsville Church of the Nazarene, 172 Churchtown Rd., Pennsville, NJ 08070, where friends are invited to visit from 10 AM until the time of service. Services will be held on Monday, May 11, 2026 at First Baptist Church at Pedricktown, with visitation beginning at 10 am and the service at 11 am. He will be laid to rest at Alloway Baptist Church, privately at a later date. In his honor, those who knew him are encouraged to spend a little extra time outdoors, watching the sky and appreciating what God has given us. Richard David “Richie” Trout of Pennsville, New Jersey, passed away leaving behind a lifetime of memories, music, faith, and love that will forever remain in the hearts of those who knew him.

Richie was a proud veteran of the United States Marine Corps and carried that strength and loyalty throughout his life. He was a devoted Christian whose faith remained an important part of who he was. Richie had a deep love for music and spent much of his life playing guitar, writing songs, and sharing that passion with others. Music was where he found peace, expression, and connection.

More than anything, Richie loved his family. He is survived by his loving daughter, Alyssa Trout; his son-in-law, Stephen Westley; and his cherished grandson, Ethan Westley. He is also survived by his brother, Steve Trout, along with his niece and nephew, Julia Trout and Robbie Trout. Richie additionally leaves behind his father, Robert Trout, and his mother, Myrna Urion.

Richie will be remembered for his kind heart, creative soul, unwavering faith, and the music he carried with him through every season of life. Though his absence leaves a tremendous void, the memories he created and the love he gave will never be forgotten.

His family takes comfort in knowing he is now at peace and resting in the arms of the Lord.
