Ralph W. Law, age 76 of Pennsville, NJ passed away at home after a brief illness on Saturday, October 24, 2026. He was born in Salem, NJ and was the son of the late Ralph G. Law and Shirley Ross Law. Ralph was a lifelong Pennsville resident.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Roxann Sheriff Law, two sons, Benjamin Law and his wife Sharon, and Jeffrey Law, both of Pennsville, NJ, and two granddaughters, Jacey Law and Veronica Law. He was predeceased by two sisters, Barbara Fisher and Shirley Moody.

Ralph was a 1968 graduate of Pennsville Memorial High School and went on to be a graduate of Wilmington University with a degree in criminal justice. He was a Navy Veteran of the Vietnam War, serving as a Cryptologist in Phu Bai, Vietnam.

Ralph went on to work for the Pennsville Police Department, where he retired in 2006 as a Lieutenant following 31 years of service, also serving as community relations and D.A.R.E. officer. After retirement, he worked in the warrants division of the Salem County Sheriff’s Department, and most recently was with the Mid-Atlantic States Career Center, delivering food to disabled veterans. He was Parade Marshall for the Pennsville Septemberfest, a longtime member of the Pennsville VFW Post 1952, and was named the 2025 Salem County Veteran of the Year.
