A memorial service will be held at 11:30 AM on Thursday, July 2nd in the Hudson United Methodist Church, 29 North Railroad Ave, Pedricktown, where friends are invited to visit from 10 AM until the time of service. A luncheon will follow the service in the fellowship hall. Burial will be private. Memorial contributions may be made in Kenneth’s memory to the Logan Volunteer Fire Company, 39 S. Kenneth C. Oliver, Sr., age 68 of Pedricktown, died Thursday, June 18, 2026, in his home with his family by his side.
Born in Mannington, son of the late Fred Sr. & Francis (Coles) Oliver, Ken was a lifelong Pedricktown resident. He was a 1976 graduate of Penns Grove High School and had worked for DuPont Chambers Works from 1976 to 1981 before working at B.F. Goodrich/Oxy Vinyl in Pedricktown for 40 years from 1981 to 2021. Ken enjoyed horse racing and being at the horse track. He enjoyed playing sports, including basketball in the Woodstown Hatchet League when he was younger and softball with the Daretown Softball League. He also enjoyed fishing and spending time for many years in Chincoteague, VA, where he spent time in earlier years with his wife and her parents and later years with his wife and his children.
Kenneth is survived by his son & daughter-in-law, K.C. & Dawn; his daughter, Joy; his son & daughter-in-law, Kris & Amanda; his grandchildren, Zac (& Ashley), Chase, Faith, and Hope; his great-granddaughter, Marley; his sisters, Erma Oliver and Diana Oliver; his brother & sister-in-law, Keith & Robin Oliver; his sister & brother-in-law, Margie & Paul Childs; his brother & sister-in-law, Gary & Laura Oliver; and his nieces, his nephews, and their families.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife of 48 years, Charlotte “Kathy” (Boone) Oliver, in October of 2025; his brother, Fred Oliver Jr.; his sisters & brothers-in-law, Amy & Tim Harr, Carol & Rick Hackman, and Becky & Sherwood Burden; and his brother, Don Oliver.
