Kay Pedrick, age 78 of Alloway, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at her home in Alloway on Sunday, September 13, 2026.

Born and raised in Pennsville, New Jersey, Kay was the daughter of the late Harry Eckley and Margaret (Kilpatrick) Eckley. She graduated from Pennsville High School with the Class of 1965 and went on to study Business Administration at Goldey-Beacom College. She later raised her family in Pennsville and Alloway, NJ.

Throughout her life, Kay was devoted to her family, her faith, and the church community. Kay worked in several positions throughout her career, including with Deepwater Federal Credit Union, South Harrison Township Schools, and WirePro. She was also the proud owner and operator of her beloved craft shop, “Just Sew,” in Alloway, NJ, where she enjoyed sharing her creativity and love of crafting with others.

Kay’s love of crafting was always supported by her husband, Bob, who often joined her at craft shows and on their yearly trips to Wellsboro, PA. She also cherished many fun family memories with the entire family at Knoebels Grove.

Kay found a special place in her heart at Alloway United Methodist Church, where her faith and her relationship with God were an important part of her life. She was deeply dedicated to the church and cherished the friendships and relationships she formed there. Kay especially enjoyed playing the piano and organ, sharing her love of music with those around her.

Among all of her accomplishments in life, Kay’s greatest joy and biggest blessing was her family. She was especially proud and grateful to be “Grammy Kay,” a role she cherished more than anything. Her grandchildren brought her immeasurable happiness, and she treasured every moment spent loving, supporting, and making memories with them.

Kay is survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Bob; her three sons, Danny of Sewell, NJ, Barry (Tara) of Alloway, NJ, and Kevin of Alloway, NJ; and her four grandchildren, Ryan of Middletown, NJ, Matthew of Elsinboro, NJ, and Megan and Andrew of Alloway, NJ.

She also leaves behind many close friends, beloved cousins, extended family members, and her church family, all of whom will carry wonderful memories of Kay and the kind, caring person she was.
