Judy A. Gordon, 79, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2026. Born in Philadelphia, PA, Judy was the beloved daughter of the late Palmer B. and Christine Davies Jr. Throughout her life, she was known for her remarkable work ethic, determination, and unwavering commitment to those she loved. She approached everything she did with dedication and strength.

Judy had a curious mind and a passion for knowledge. She was an avid reader who especially enjoyed documentaries, particularly those focused on history and biblical subjects. A devoted history enthusiast, she had a special fascination with the American Civil War and could often be found immersed in books or programs that deepened her understanding of the past. She also enjoyed watching Animal Planet and had a deep appreciation for animals.

Nothing brought Judy more joy than spending time with the youngest members of her family. She treasured every moment spent with the little ones in her family and loved being part of their lives. In her quieter moments, she enjoyed completing word searches, playing mahjong or just sitting next to the dogs enjoying their company. Judy will be remembered for her intelligence, kindness, perseverance, her dry sense of humor and the unconditional love she freely gave to her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her.

Judy is survived by her daughter Victoria Hastings and her husband Brian; her son John Gordon; her siblings Christine Lupo, Linda Davies and Keith Davies, her grandchildren Brianna, Eric, Kellen, Julie, Brian, Brendon, Andrew and Faith; along with 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Along with her parents, Judy is predeceased by her daughter Jennifer Durkin, and her siblings Venetta Gilbert and Palmer B. Davies III.
