Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Saturday, January 17th at St. Joseph’s RC Church, 51 Broad St., Woodstown. A viewing will be held from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM in H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 South Main St., Woodstown. Burial will follow Mass in the church cemetery. David R. Graham, Sr. was called home to the Lord on Friday, January 9, 2026, when he died peacefully at home surrounded by his family. Dave was a lifelong resident of Carney’s Point, NJ, a 1969 graduate of Saint James High School, a United States Army veteran and a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Woodstown. He retired as an electrician from DuPont’s Chambers Works after 37 years of service. He was a classic car enthusiast, enjoyed going to the drag races and spending summer vacations in Ocean City, NJ. What Dave loved most was spending time with his friends and family, especially his grandsons. He was the first to arrive at a party and the last one to leave.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Bonnie (nee Burden); two sons, David Jr. of Pennsville and Jason (Nikki) of Jacksonville, FL; two grandsons, Colin, currently stationed in Japan with the US Navy and Evan of Jacksonville, FL; his sisters-in-law, Judy Emmons, Nancy Elwell (Jay) and Kathie Rammel (Myron); and many nieces and nephews.
Dave was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Anna (nee Caulfield) Graham, his in-laws Alfred and Edna (nee Kennedy) Burden, and his two brothers, Jospeh Graham Sr. and Michael Graham Sr.
