A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad St., Woodstown, NJ 08098. Memorial visitation will begin at 9:30 a.m., with the service to follow at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. Condolences may be left at www.adamsfuneralhome.org.
Daniel “Danny” Garrison, 58, of Pittsgrove, passed away suddenly on August 13, 2026. Born in Elmer, Danny was the son of the late Donald Garrison Sr. and Phyllis Ann Clifford.
Danny was a graduate of Arthur P. Schalick High School. He proudly served his country in the United States Army, where he became an expert marksman. Before beginning his career with South State, Danny worked as a truck driver and through Local #676. He later worked for South State as a Shop Steward and Supervisor, where he was known not only for his dedication to his work, but also for his ability to teach, mentor, and help those around him.
Danny had a big heart and a genuine willingness to help anyone in need. He was a natural mentor and teacher who shared his knowledge generously with others. Funny, smart, talented, and kind, Danny had a way of making people feel welcome and cared for. He was deeply loved by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Outside of work, Danny enjoyed camping in the mountains, where he could relax and enjoy the outdoors. He cherished his family and the people he loved, and his loyal dog, Harly, was never far from his side.
Danny is survived by his daughters, Demi Duran (Tyler), Hailey Garrison (Dawson), their mother, Donna Garrison and Danielle Miller (Ben); his step-mother, Joanne (Baker) Garrison; his fiancée, Kathleen Bergholz; Kathleen’s children, Branden (Emilee), Katelyn, and Kimberly Bergholz whom he was like a father to; his siblings, Donald Jr. (Kerri), Scott, Paul Gross (Stephanie), James, Ashley (John-Jon), and Sandra (Christopher); and his beloved dogs, Hazel and Harley.
Danny will be deeply missed by his family, friends, coworkers, and the many people whose lives he touched through his kindness, humor, guidance, and generosity.
