Charles Robert Latham Jr., lovingly known as “Chuck,” passed away peacefully on May 30, 2026, at the age of 66, surrounded by his family.
Born on July 5, 1959, in Mannington, New Jersey, Charles was the son of Charles Latham and Rita Paleschic.
He proudly served his country in the United States Navy for 22 years, a commitment that reflected the discipline, strength, and integrity that would guide him throughout his life. Following his military career, he worked for 20 years with Delta Scientific. In his younger years, Charles was a partner in L&B DJs, sharing his love of music while creating memories for countless people and creating the soundtracks of our lives.
When he wasn’t working, Charles enjoyed tackling small projects around the house, watching movies from his beloved “Chuck-busters” collection, enjoying his favorite Food Network shows, and listening to all kinds of music. More than anything, however, Charles treasured being surrounded by family and friends, sharing stories, laughter, and memories that will be cherished forever.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Latham and Rita Paleschic; his wife Judy Latham (nรฉe Bachman); his brother, Daniel Latham; and his granddaughter, McKenzie.
He is survived by his brothers, David (Denise) Latham and Eric Latham; his sister, Alice; his children, Michelle, Natalie (Randy), and Nicole (Anthony); his stepchildren, Tony (Minta), Kirsten (Dave), and Jeffrey; his grandchildren, Brett, Justin, Riley, Kaylee, Maxim, Benjamin, Jessica, Jade, RJ, Emaleigh, Hayden, and Ryan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and his dear friend, Mary Beth.
His stories, laughter, wisdom, and presence will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all who knew him. His legacy lives on in the family and friends he loved so dearly.
A celebration of Charles’ life will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at Adams Funeral Home, 64 Broad Street, Woodstown, NJ 08098. There will be a visitation starting at 12 Noon leading to the memorial service at 1:30 PM. Burial will be private.
