Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Monday, June 8th in the H.T. Layton Funeral Home, 102 S. Main St., Woodstown, where friends are invited to visit from 10 AM until the time of service. Arthur Clark Bradway, age 92, formerly of Quinton, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 29, 2026.
Arthur was born on June 29, 1933 in Salem. He was the son of Charles and Nellie Bradway. He graduated from Salem High School, and upon graduation, he joined the Navy and served during the Korean War. Once he returned home to Salem, he worked for Anchor Glass, retiring after 40 years.
Arthur loved hunting and fishing, and he spent many years doing so with his sons and taught them well. He is a lifetime member of the Buckhorn Sportsmens Club. He loved his family and cherished the time spent with them. Arthur, also known as “Brad” or “Pop”, had many friends. He was known for his kindness, sense of humor, and love of his family. He loved going out to eat with his friends at the Oak Diner and the Diamond Grill. He attended church at the Salem Assembly of God. He spent over 50 years fishing in the mountains of North Carolina with a group of his lifetime friends.
Arthur is predeceased by his wife, Josephine “Tootie” List Bradway, who was the love of his life. He was also predeceased by his sister, Charlotte Bradway Barber. He is survived by his sons, Monty Wayne and Rocky Lee; his grandsons, Duane Bradway, Erik Bradway, and Rocky Bradway II; his great-grandchildren, Waylon, Elliott, Adajo, Rocky, and Tiffany; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
