Local Artist Highlight–Dave Boucher
Dave Boucher is a good time. He is stellar performer, with a smooth sound, casual presence and good looks to top it off. His skill and experience paired with a robust and soulful voice makes it look easy. Dave takes his music seriously, but with a charm that makes the listener feel at ease. He plays all the hits you want to hear, and throws his own songs into the mix. Best heard in a true listening space, the original music he puts out is a form of storytelling that can swing from weighing heavy on the heart to free and clear. The thoughtful lyrics are well supported with the dynamic range of his voice. Dave’s personality shines in his smile and in his support of the music community through open mics he has run at The Engine house. You can hear Dave this week at The Engine House in Pennsville on Thursday from 4-7 pm for a Dine to Donate fundraising event benefiting Habitat for Humanity, and then again on Friday at 7 pm at the Turnpike Inn Bar in Carneys Point.
