Salem City Police Arrest Log for Aug. 1st through Aug. 15th

The Salem Police Department reported 14 arrests during the first half of August, according to a media arrest summary released by the department. Two people were charged with violating restraining orders, several face drug paraphernalia or possession charges, and the log also includes assault, resisting arrest, and open-container violations.

Arrests are listed in chronological order. All individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Brandon J. Palmer, 38, Salem โ€” Arrested 9:50 p.m. Aug. 1 and charged with contempt for violating a domestic violence restraining order.

Dione W. Alston, 50, Carneys Point โ€” Arrested 11:28 p.m. Aug. 2 and charged with obstructing the administration of law, resisting arrest/eluding, and refusal to submit to fingerprinting.

Victor S. Banks, 45, Salem โ€” Arrested 11:14 a.m. Aug. 4 and charged with consuming an alcoholic beverage in a prohibited place (open container).

Brenda Simmons, 59, Salem โ€” Arrested 11:19 a.m. Aug. 4 and charged with an open-container violation.

Eric Torres, 19, Penns Grove โ€” Arrested 11:05 p.m. Aug. 4 and charged with simple assault for purposely or knowingly causing bodily injury.

Phillip King, 29, Salem โ€” Arrested 10:54 a.m. Aug. 7 and charged with an open-container violation.

Cruz A. Flores, 31, Camden โ€” Arrested 12:30 p.m. Aug. 8 and charged with an open-container violation.

Cameron M. King, 37 โ€” Arrested 2:31 p.m. Aug. 8 and charged with possession of a controlled dangerous substance/analog (Schedules I, II, III and IV) and criminal trespass as a defiant trespasser.

Jonathan T. Allen, 37, Salem โ€” Arrested 4:37 p.m. Aug. 9 and charged with improper conduct under the borough’s peace and good order ordinance.

Nicole R. Underwood, 41, Salem โ€” Arrested 6:40 p.m. Aug. 10 and charged with aggravated assault (simple assault on certain protected persons).

Gina N. Carlson, 47, Gloucester County โ€” Arrested 11:21 a.m. Aug. 12 and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use, driving with a suspended license/registration, and having an unsealed alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.

John T. Allen, 59, Salem โ€” Arrested 9:48 a.m. Aug. 13 and charged with obstructing the administration of law and use/possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use.

Konstantinos G. Efelis, 46, Pennsville โ€” Arrested 9:48 a.m. Aug. 13, in the same incident as John T. Allen, and charged with use/possession of drug paraphernalia with intent to use and possession of a controlled dangerous substance/analog (Schedules I, II, III and IV).

Kisha A. Dunn, 48, Carneys Point โ€” Arrested 5:03 p.m. Aug. 14 and charged with contempt for violating a judicial/restraining order.
