Walter Iskra, 95, a lifetime resident of Pittsgrove passed away on December 28, 2016. He was the son of George & Mary Iskra and a brother to Stanley all of whom predeceased him. Along with his family, he operated a chicken farm on Alvine Road in Pittsgrove for many years. Whether he was working on the farm or not, Walter would always take the time to help anyone. It did not matter if they needed something done around the house, a ride to their doctor’s or work done on their cars he was always happy to oblige. Spending the last few years at South Jersey Extended Care where he made many new friends, he will be missed. Survivors include cousins in the US and Poland.
