SUMMARY:America\'s 250th Birthday: A Small Town Celebration
DESCRIPTION:For people who’ve been asking\, this is what’s planned for event. If anything changes\, we will definitely spread the word as soon as possible. \n\n1 - Singing of our national anthem.\n2 - Pledge of Allegiance\n3 - A trumpeter will perform the Army Reveille\n4 - A horse/w rider will ride up to the gazebo and hand of a scroll that will contain the Declaration Of Independence. \n5- Ringing of the brass bell followed by excerpts of the Declaration being read (this will not take long. We are only reading a few parts from it).\n6 - Singing of the first verse of America The Beautiful.\n7 - Acknowledge and thank our Fire Departments\, EMT’s\, and Police.\n8 - Recognition of our military branches\, thanking our veterans\, and remembering our fallen. \n9 - Trumpeter will play TAPS.\n10 - Music will begin for patriotic dance group from Dance Expressions.\n11 - Patriotic Baby Contestants (Ages newborn to 12 months) will be directed prior to conclusion of ceremonies where to line up behind gazebo where steps are. Judges will position themselves in gazebo.\n12 - Patriotic Dog Contestants (All Ages) will lineup immediately after Baby Contest concludes and next group of judges will assemble in gazebo).\n\nIMPORTANT NOTE:\n\nWhile these contests are going on there is going to be all of these fun activities going on as well.\n\nWhipped Cream Pie Eating Contest\nPony Rides\nGames For Kids\nMagic By Kyle\nFace painting by Amanda \nA banner for all attendees to sign\nA time capsule for all of our Pennsville businesses and residents to place a picture in\n(One picture per business or resident please). The capsule will be reopened in 2076.\n\nMembers of The Pennsville Historical Society will be on hand as well as from our farming community and other surprises. \n\nFood and drink vendors for this historic occasion are:\nCreek’s Edge.\nGus’s Pizza.\nThe Engine House.\nCC’s Candy Factory.\nCaffe’ Doppio.\nFizzz Dirty Soda Bar.\nTropic Bowls.\nFreshlei Made.\nBattiato Farms Ice Cream.\n\nWe will also be selling T shirts for $20 that will commemorate this community celebration of our nation’s 250th birthday!\n\nWe can’t wait to see you this Friday\, July 3rd\, 5:30pm - 8:30pm at Riverview Beach Park
